About
TERRY WARD TUCKER and her family are members of First Baptist Church in Charleston, SC. She holds a PhD in Reading Education. Her popular devotional book, INSPIRE YOU DAILY DEVOTIONS, was so well received by readers that Terry responded to their encouragement by writing RADIANCE OF JESUS – One Hundred Devotions, a new series for those who enjoy worshiping on the same page together, plus anyone else who wants to be blessed mightily by God’s SonLight.
Terry’s first novel, Charleston’s Elegant Sinners, is set in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. Her second, Moonlight and Mill Whistles, received ForeWord Magazine’s Silver Book of the Year Award. Winston Groom, author of Forrest Gump, wrote, “Terry Ward Tucker tells a lovely and captivating story in Moonlight and Mill Whistles. Her writing is a joy to read.” Terry’s latest novel, Moonbow Over Charleston, is also set in the South. Pat Conroy wrote about Moonbow, “Terry Ward Tucker paints a moonbow upon Charleston’s night sky and gifts us all with its loveliness. Thank you, Terry!”
Tucker served as screenplay co-writer for faith-based movie, Only God Can, produced by Inspire You Entertainment, and screenplay writer for Hate Won’t Win, a new film in development based on the shooting massacre at Mother Emanuel Church in Charleston. Her upcoming novel - GOD HEARS YOU! Do You Hear God? - will launch in 2022.
Tucker came to Christ at age eight in a revival meeting at First Baptist Church in Lancaster, SC. She is thankful to be known as a born again Christian and hopes people all over the world will be as blessed by reading her daily devotions as she was by writing them.
